Social media is arguably the most important asset to real estate agents. Here, we get a platform to engage with our audience on the go. I’m sure you all appreciate how hard getting leads is. Here are a few Hashtags am Using to get new leads from Canada. Use them wisely. Now that I’m about to share my “secret sauce”, I hope that you’ll use them wisely to get sales.
1. #<neighbourhood>
If you’re advertising property in Toronto, use #Toronto. You’ll use #Montreal to advertise assets in Montreal. And so, on and so forth. As a real estate agent, you’re expected to showcase perfect knowledge of the local geography. In fact, you should know your “territory” in and out. This is your playground. It’s true that a lovely picture of a cute couple next to a beautiful home generates many leads, but if they don’t want to live in that neighborhood you’ll get a low conversion rate. Save yourself the hustle and qualify leads. If you want to sell an asset, you have to target “motivated” leads. Use location hashtags to qualify them. Let your creative juices flow. Does your neighbourhood have a nickname? Use it instead. Show that you’re part of them.
2. #<location>+<type of listing>
When I’m listing hot cake properties, I combine them with the type of listing. Think about it for a minute. You’re suing atwitter to sell dreams. When used correctly, it Can do winders. This is arguably the most portent hashtag strategy. For example, if you’re advertising a waterfront unit in Vancouver, consider using #VancouverWaterFront. Try various combos and see what works. You know what they say about internet marketing – capitalize on what works and forget the rest
3. #DreamHouse
Do you know why car sales agent let you test drive a car? They want you to start dreaming of owning that car. Use this hashtag and your audience will dream of living in that apartment. Give the thoughts enough tie to marinate in their brains then reel in the kill. They will take the hook, line and sinker. This strategy has stood the test of time. Ask yourself this simple question: How many people have signed up for insurance agencies that they never really use? Don’t argue with me. Use a beautiful picture and they will be drooling ready to part with their hard-earned cash.
4. #vintageThings
Let’s go back to the basics. Use this hashtag sparingly and it won’t lose taste. Especially useful when showcasing old houses. Make sure your photography is top notch and your copy writing flawless.
5. #buyandwait
This is one of the clever ways of implying that this house is an investment. Bring out all the great features of your asset. This even works for relative expensive houses. These remind them that this is a hot cake and someone else will get it if they didn’t. Is there another way of reminding them that the market is steadily growing?
6. #homeiswheretheheartis
Other variants include #HomeSweetHome or #hsh and #dreamhome. They say that a house isn’t a home but is this is what you’re looking for as a marketer? Of course, you’re trying to get that commission. And this is the best way to do things.
